Dictators, Books and Polly Toynbee
Slobodan Melosevic has died, and therefore a genocidal warmonger escapes justice. I'm certainly not weeping any tears for him.
I took my mother to see Poly Toynbee talk about poverty in Britain, and her experiances of living on the minimum wage, and then had my copy of her book signed. I also got to have a little chat about the new wave of south american leaders who pledge to reduce povery in their own countries. Notably, our MP didn't attend - what a suprise.
